Wine Evenings with the sommelier.

Beatrice Whickham hosts a small wine evening on the second Wednesday of every other month, in The Dining Room. Three flights are paired with a three-course set menu drawn from the season; the theme rotates — Burgundy in winter, the Loire in spring, English sparkling in summer, claret in autumn. Ten guests; the kitchen plates by hand.

Every fourth Thursday · 20:00 · twelve guests · £65 per head

A small live trio plays in The Hertford Bar on the fourth Thursday of every month from 20:00 to 23:00; the salon serves a short bar menu and a single house cocktail of the evening. Twelve seats at the counter and at the small tables-of-two; the trio rotates between Marylebone and Soho jazz musicians known to the room.

§ The Christmas series

The Christmas series.

Three special evenings across the second through fourth weeks of December: a charcuterie tasting (a small evening of plates from the take-away programme), a Champagne tasting in The Dining Room, and a New Year's Eve dinner. Reservations open in the first week of November.

Private events — from six to seventy guests.

Saspherton hires for private events — a single room (six to twelve guests), a half-salon (twenty to thirty), or the whole salon (up to seventy). Three group-package tiers, set out below; we are happy to construct a custom programme on enquiry.

Salon Six — six guests at one table, two-course set menu, glass of house wine each, gratuity included — £55 pp
Salon Eight — eight guests, three-course set menu, sommelier flight of three glasses each, brand-of-the-evening cocktail on arrival, gratuity included — £125 pp
Whole-Salon Hire — exclusive use of the entire salon (all three rooms), tasting-menu by the kitchen, Klub-coordinator-hosted evening, sommelier-presented wine pairing, dedicated card host if cards are to be played, gratuity included — from £180 pp (minimum 30 guests)
